Did a dealer search on the Yamaha website looking for a nearby shop to do the 20 hour service on my 250 Yamaha.

When I called, they said bring it in and you should get it back the same day.

Not only did they get it the same day, they went beyond the needed service and did a check of my boat repairing a few things that they saw needed attention.

I just got a small outboard from Mike at The Boat Yard. I arrived with a problem of my own creation. It wasn't a big one, but it's one which could have cost almost $100 and padded the pocket of the business. Instead of trying to squeeze me for that money, he came up with a ingenious, yet simple solution which made perfect sense and cost me roughly $10. It's my only experience with this business, but my experience was an indication of them doing business the right way.

Bought "The Patriot" 6 months ago - hands down the best, most versatile boat I've ever owned. Has the ability to blow out of soft mud and run on top in less than 6 inches of water from a dead stop. Additionally, the cat hull never fails to provide a smooth ride across a choppy bay. This rare combination of features in one boat is difficult to find.

I had them install a trolling motor two batteries and a charger on my patriot. The work was outstanding. Professional installation, prompt service friendly technicians. I drive 4 hours to have The Boat Yard do the work and it was well worth the trip. I highly recommend the Boat Yard!

I had a check engine light and loss of power with my Mercruiser. Alex and Ronnie were very accommodating for my problem and within a half hour, they had a correct diagnosis and parts ordered for me. These guys know how to get a deal done! They were able to get me the terms that I wanted with the down payment I wanted and more boat than anyone else, where nobody else could. They included all the safety gear, and even gave me an on the water orientation for a couple hours after the sale was complete. First, I found The Boat Yard by accident two years ago visiting Kema. We (wife and I) stopped in and took a look at inventory and had Chet (owner) show us around. Next thing I know, I was driving out with a new Pontoon boat. I had been to several boat dealership all around Houston (North and South) and no place made me feel obligated to buy like The Boat Yard. Chet is one of kind and he has become more like family after the sale. I visted his dealership yesterday and I am thinking about buying another boat from him. The prices? There is a guy coming from Florida today to drive his new boat back home. What else can I say? The service manager (Mark) is another reason Iove this place. They make it a priority to help you and resolve problems with your boat. Most boat owners know that no boat is perfect once it leaves the factory. It takes the new owner to put the boat through it's paces to find out how she operates under normal "wear and tear." Mark has been there for me in resolving any minor situation with the boat. You guys still rock today in spite of how the world has changed with CIVID. Oh, ask Chet to shave that ugly beard he is sporting today. Ha!

I don't usually write comments or reviews, but in this situation I would like folks to know about this unique boat dealership. My wife and I went to several boat dealership up North around Lake Conroe because we wanted a fresh water pontoon or deck boat. On a hoax and last ditch effort, we drove South toward Kemah to find a clean fresh water boat. "There she was - red tritoon, ski bar, loungers, stereo, and brand new! What would have been several hundred dollars more at other dealerships I got it for less. The staff (Cissily and Chet) did not jerk me around or waste my time." I didn't think I could afford the boat I wanted, but Chet made it happen for me. I am retired Army & FBI - these guys are true professionals and worked with me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.... The pontoon (tritoon) is everything I wanted and they had the boat ready to go into the water in 2 days.

Outstanding service in every aspect!! Whether I am dealing with the sales team or the service team, I have always been treated like family. These guys are genuine, honest, and square dealing.
